Kinsey Marable brings the enthusiasm of a book lover to his work. Before becoming a bookseller, he was an investment banker for Goldman Sachs. He loved browsing through London's venerable bookshops, and ten years ago he turned his hobby into a new profession, opening a shop in Washington, DC. His store became popular, and he later moved to larger quarters in Washington and opened a second shop in New York. Both were furnished as comfortable private reading rooms where visitors could curl up on a velvet sofa before a crackling fire.
In 1994, Kinsey opened offices in Georgetown to concentrate exclusively on our private client services. Since then, he has assembled libraries from California to London and Paris, from a guest room collection to expansive libraries containing thousands of volumes.
